Primary Transition - September 2021
Moving up to Brookfield
We aim to make the transfer to Brookfield a smooth, positive and exciting experience for children and parents. It is crucial to the start of each child’s secondary education. The aim of our transition process is for every pupil to move up to Brookfield feeling excited, confident and informed.
We work closely with our partner primary schools to ensure that we are fully briefed on all children to ensure that learning is optimised from the moment they join us in September. Our staff and primary ambassadors will visit primary schools to begin to build relationships and answer questions during Year 6. We also aim to meet with parents in person at our transition evening and introduce form tutors.
We have carefully created a series of information and activities for you and your child to give you a complete understanding of what life will be like at Brookfield. This section of the website will be updated regularly so please return and check for updates.
